SW Radio Africa (London) reports that almost 10.000 students from the University of Zimbabwe have failed to pay their fees for the first term of the academic year. This has forced the institution to postpone opening its doors on Monday next week.
Wadinasi - Association for Poverty Alleviation is a home grown organization dedicated to poverty alleviation, capacity building, economic empowerment for marginalized, vulnerable and disadvantaged people in Zimbabwe in accordance with their needs and government development programme.
The word “Wadinasi” in Swahili is used as the prefix to mean well-born man/men the son/s of free parents. WAPA’s basis for existence is to remove economic constraints and restore dignity to individuals and communities.
WAPA is assisting people with disabilities by promoting full participation, equal opportunities and full access to commuity, social and economic services through the following lines: Community Education, Education, Economic Empowerment, Infrastructure and Equipment, Rehabilitation and Advocacy.
